The Street & Arthur Kennedy Close - Road Closure - July/August 2018

In consultation with Kent County Council, I&G Utilities (on behalf of SGN) will start work on Monday 09 July.

Over eight weeks, the engineers will start in Arthur Kennedy Close and progress onto The Street between its junction with Arthur Kennedy Close and up to 77 The Street. To ensure everyone’s safety around our work area, there will be temporary traffic lights installed around the working area on The Street from Monday 23 July to Friday 31 August. On-street parking may be restricted throughout the whole project.

Roadworks can be frustrating. However, the new plastic pipe has a minimum lifespan of 80 years. This means that when the work is complete, Boughton-Under-Blean residents will continue to enjoy the benefits of a safe and reliable gas supply for years to come.
