KENT COUNTY COUNCIL HORSELEES ROAD, BOUGHTON (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 – Section 14 (2) Kent County Council gives notice that Horselees Road, Boughton, will be closed to through traffic, on or after 12 July 2018 for up to 2 Days.The road will be closed from the junction Brickfield Lane and Colonels Lane.The alternative route is via Brickfield Lane - Canterbury Road - Stockers Hill - The Street - Colonels Lane.The closure is necessary to enable KCC - Highways to carry out works to Pothole Repair.This Notice applies when the relevant signs and barriers are on site, and is valid for a period of no more than 21 days. The Street & Arthur Kennedy Close - Road Closure - July/August 2018

In consultation with Kent County Council, I&G Utilities (on behalf of SGN) will start work on Monday 09 July. Over eight weeks, the engineers will start in Arthur Kennedy Close and progress onto The Street between its junction with Arthur Kennedy Close and up to 77 The Street. To ensure everyone’s safety around our work area, there will be temporary traffic lights installed around the working area on The Street from Monday 23 July to Friday 31 August. On-street parking may be restricted throughout the whole project. Roadworks can be frustrating. However, the new plastic pipe has a minimum lifespan of 80 years.
