ELECTIONS - 4th MAY 2023
The next round of local elections is coming up.
The Parish Council needs people from all backgrounds and experiences who reflect their community to put themselves forward for election. If you have innovative ideas for the council and can commit a small amount of time to help action ideas, becoming a Parish Councillor will empower you to #MakeAChange.

If you wish to become a councillor, you will need to complete nomination papers and submit them to Swale Borough Council by 4pm on Tuesday 4th April 2023.

Please arrange a time with the Elections team for an informal check of your nomination paper before submitting the final forms. For an informal check, you can email your nomination papers to elections@swale.gov.uk or call 01795 417558 to arrange an appointment. If you do not arrange an informal check and don’t submit your nomination papers early, there may not be time to correct any errors before close of nominations, given the number of nomination papers that will be received in a short period of time (there are also Borough elections on the same day).
